Welcome to the Kontea Heritage Foundation website!

The Kontea Heritage Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organization which was established in 2006 for the purpose of rescuing, preserving, and promoting all aspects of Kontea's heritage - be it buildings, cultural or natural heritage - for the benefit of present and future generations.

UNDP-ACT announced on August 1st 2007 the approval of the Cultural Heritage Circle Project, proposed by the Kontea Heritage Foundation, regarding the Kontea restoration works. All the relevant UNDP-ACT Programme steering committees in both the Greek- and Turkish- Cypriot communities approved it.
